This is cars prepared for scrapping. I am really shocked. Here in poor dirty economical waistland where I live, most of the people driving same age cars, especially in province. And it`s seems rather like crime to send nice driveable cars to scrapyard.

Where are you posting from? Are these the cars awaiting scrapping under the UK Government's stupid "scrappage scheme" An ill-advised poliitically based wheeze attempting to keep car manufacturers going despite the fact that the industry grossly overproduces cars that no one actually wants.

Are these scrappage scheme cars loots of them look like more than £2000, or are they impounded untaxed or similar. This photo appeared in the Daily Mail so thats never a good sign as far as authenticity is concerned.

Looks like a load of UK cars, yellow rear plates, white front plates, and a right hand drive metro cab...
Was this one of those email forward emails by chance?

Well, same nuts in Estonia - people ashamed to drive car over 5 years old, regardless their real incomes. And it`s very sad, just because too much money spended on transportation, instead health, medicine, education etc. But it`s seems still very strange to scrape relatively new cars to stimulate demand.
And for me this is the sign of that how we raping and molest mother-nature, instead of careful use of it`s resources. How much CO2 will be emerged to atmosphere with scrapping this vehicles and producing new one?
And this is good joke at the issue))
