It's a truism, I gather, that one should never use a P5's jacking points when lifting the car. That problem is easily enough avoided at home, but what sort of jack to you guys carry in the car for roadside mishaps?

Well I could say use SEARCH but yes never use the jacking points and only in an emergency and then becareful
After finding out this this the hard way) see pics and thread somewhere) I carry a small compact 2T trolley jack. I do know they will now carry the weight now but they are made SOLEY for wheel changing at the road side as is the jack and this is no different to any other car now and then

i use my rover jack all the time... works fine for me.
what problems have you guys had?

Rusty Jacking points and it can distort the body
