Bit by bit, I'm getting things done. Worked on the exhaust today. Got the left side all wielded up and most the right side until I ran out of time. Lots of cutting, wielding and measuring to see if it will fit. Should get it done next weekend.

Sure will Glenn. Thinking a followup article after I get it running would be good, probably the second half of the year.

Got the last of the exhaust wielded up. Man, is it hard to wield while laying on your side and upside down at times! I've run out of both Oxy and acetalene (?) so still have the tops of the pipes to wield, just didn't have enough room to work the arc wielder (and not set the rest of the car on fire!). Expect to get the new Lockheed brake servo this week so that will be the project for next weekend. Little by little, I'm finally getting things done.

Another productive weekend! My replacement brake servo arrived on Friday and I've got it mounted. Bleeded the brakes, adjusted brake pedal travel and installed some homemade bushings in the accelerator linkage to replace the ones that aren't there anymore! Next project is to clean the parking brake linkage and make sure it works ok.

Got the handbrake working this weekend. Removed the ratching handle, cleaned it up and straightened it as it had developed a nice curve to it, which caused it to bind. Removed clutch master cylinder but have not been able yet to remove the plunger. I've got it soaking for a few hours and hope it will come loose.

I finally got the clutch master cylinder apart. Boiled it in white vinegar for ten minutes and let it sit in the vinegar overnight. It still took a bit of tapping before the piston would come out, honed out the bore and cleaned up everything and it works fine now. I'll need to fabricate a mounting for the slave cylinder after I put a new clutch in to make sure everything lines up and that the exhaust won't be too close. I've pretty much used up all the parts I've collected over the last two years so will have to wait until there is $$ to the rest of the work I need to do.
