For anyone on the other side of the Atlantic, Limey at Bits4Brits (http://bits4brits.net/) sells a solid-state Stabilizer. IIRC, he used to convert the mechanical ones, but a lack of old ones to convert seems to have pushed him to make a new one, which is listed as for Negative Ground only.
His relay kits are excellent for taking the load off of the switches in the dash, too, plus providing brighter lights and a louder horn.

From Mk3's onwards but no problem convering unless Rev counter is installed and still works

Excellent. I know that the Rev Counters for MGBs can be modified if converting, without much effort, or folks like Nisonger or Palo Alto Speedometer will even modify the internals to work electronically if you have a system like EDIS that does not provide a strong enough pulse for the original equipment.
