I done several searches, looked all through my WSM and looked all over my Mk IIc but can not find the location the paint label. I want to make sure of the right color of the car before I go out and buy the paint. Would someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!!

I don't have a digital camera to take a picture of the car with but the car was in the June 2010 issue of Take Five (not very clean though) under "Reborn in the USA". The color seems to be a light grey (Battleship Grey?).

Charcoal Grey seems may be the correct colour same as mine - I cannot recall paint labels being used on 3 Litres. Could be Marine Grey as Stone Grey is very light in colour
Post a picture if poss
P5's could be ordered in P6 colours and also any others too! Have you got the paint touchup stick still in the tool tray?

I had forgotten about the paint stick in the tray. When I get home from work, I'll see where in the garage I've put it (may take a while to find, the garage being a bit of a mess!). I'll let you know when I find it. Thanks for the tip.

Well, I found the touch up stick in the garage after work(while putting together a tool kit to work on a friend's E-type in the morning). Turns out I have Charcoal Grey! From your comments Phil, the P5 did not have paint labels but only the P5B? Thanks for the tip.
