I like it. Great work...but is this a P5 bonnet as the car is not visible. If it's a P5B it would be a good mod (especially down under in summer) as there is very poor 'exiting' airflow from under the bonnet of a P5 when it is stationary in traffic.
The only thing that concerns me (and I like the aesthetics) is rain. On a similar car I had, the exhaust headers used to rust.

Hopefull will let some hot air out. Not realy bothered about the rain as the car is a bit of a trailer queen. One thing I'm not sure what to do with is the bonnet blanket? What is it for? to keep the engine warm at night maybe. LOL

To protect the bonnet paint when the engine is really hot.

It seems to me that I measured my P5 once to see if a Jag V12 would fit and I came to the conclusion that it would not fit. That's when I decided to fit a Chevy V6.

The bonnet blanket is a joke...mines been off for years and the climate in OZ can get extremely hot at various times and locations. If the paint lifts there's something wrong the preparation. Looking forward to seeing the bonnet fitted to the car. Very nice work.

Looking forward to seeing the bonnet fitted to the car. Very nice work. Thank you for your input and kind remarks. Just as I thought, can't see why a blanket would be needed other than to reduce noise. Must be great down under with all that lovely sunshine,if you need rain this is the place to be

It's not the rain so much, it is the salt we put on the road that causes the problem. A lot of Aussie cities get quite high levels of rainfall (I believe) but they don't use salt. The blanket does improve the reduction of noise. July has been a bit of a dissapointment at the moment but the weather does look decent for this week-end
