Hello everyone, This is the first contribution on this new board from your also newly elected PR Officer - and, yes, I am afraid it is a request. We were, recently, approached by the administrators of a classic car website called www.motorbase.com. It has a wealth of information and interesting things for the old car nut. At the time they asked us to check the data they had on our club and to indicate any necessary changes. I have done this as far as my knowledge about P5s allows. However, the sections on the 3litre models would need to be checked as well. Therefore, I was hoping that some of you 3 Litre experts out there might be so kind to have a look at the site and check the text (www.motorbase.com ==> scroll down the column on the left hand side and click on clubs ==> a page appears with club names in alphabetical order, where you can find the Rover P5 Club = remember we are not called the P5 OWNER'S Club any longer). Any suggestions would best be sent to me at pr-officer@roverp5club.org.uk so I can collate them and inform the website administrators. They could also do with photographs of 3 litre models as they have used P4 images instead. Yours Peter Mueller PR Officer

The Rover P5B saloon is actually a Mk2 Auto export saloon!
My Mk2c Coupe Auto would look nice there

>:(The figures are to thingy. The BHP quoted & max speed are for MK11 auto. The Mk 2 man & all Mk3 had 134 bhp. The Mk2 & 3 manual could exceed 100 mph (102 to 108 depending on which road test you read) More detail re the engine and transmissions needs to be included for an acurate picture ..but.. it only appears to be a thumbnail history/over view Rgds Darryl
