Who, in everyones opinion, is the best body restoration man or company ? One who uses a proper spot welder, and makes almost undetectable repairs without using a 25 gallon bucket of bodyfiller ?
I worked in a bodyshop for a long time, but I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that doing it myself will take far too long as I dont seem able to find the time these days, and I would like to be able to use the car before I have to be spoon fed.

I live in north Kent, but that doesn't really matter. I would be prepared to take the car any distance for the right job.

Hmmmm Lots of views but no responses ?
Does this mean that no one has had work done.......?
Or does it mean that the work was less than satisfactory ?

:(It could mean that we do not trust anyone to do work that you could do yourself better and less costly

I live in Plymouth so I don't know anyone from your area. What I do know is that there is a wealth of skill and talent almost anywhere in this country to tackle the sort of work you want to have done. You only have to look at the quality of some professional restoration to see what can be done. One of my favourite programmes on TV from recent years was Salvage Squad because that showed what can be done. But there are two snags.1) You have to find the right person and 2) That sort of work does not come cheap. It is a balance between your own skills time and facilities and your ability to pay a professional. My P5B is currently nearing a full restoration at Graham Floyd.
He lives near Gloucester and has a very good reputation. He was regional rep for Glouester, so you can find his details in an old issue of Take Five.
At least you can see the quality of his work on mine, before you commit?
