Hi, I open this thread to show what's under or behind what we see in our cars when we drive them. I dismantled a P5B Coupé three years ago for parts and I made pictures during the process. I don't know exactly how to do: either I post pictures on a regular basis or I do it "on request" if you want to see a particular area of the car. Let me Kow, any advice welcome. Of course, your own pictures are welcome in order to create a big pictures data bank Let's start by what the interior looks like without the seats and carpets

Personally, I think it would be good if you were to post them all, at your convenience. Whenever you have the time and feel so inclined, post a few more.

Good photos. You seem to have quite a collection; I-spy another coupe (RHD), an SD1 and 2 classic Range Rovers in the background. The other P5B looks to be in better condition??

Well tonys, I'm a Rover nut and I collect the David Bache's work: he designed all the cars we own. we have Classics RR, a SD1 2600 VDP, a P6 2200TC (my daily driver) , a series III Land Rover and two P5B Coupé (both are RHD silver Birch, one has an engine problem so doesn't drive) All the cars drive once a week at least. Let's see what's in the boot:

Thank you Glenn. That was my first dismantling and I had no WSM so i made lot of pictures to remember how the car is made. For instance, how to remove the handle If you want to see something in particular, just ask, may be I have a picture of it.

When I was first fiddling with cars, people in the trade down here referred to those as Jesus clips. This was because people often tried to remove them by lifting one side with the end of a screwdriver. It was named after the exclamation that was often made when it flew off and disappeared.

You need to drain your fuel tank? Remove the round plate above the rear axle and behind you'll find the drain plug
