Sometimes photos are very handy to refresh the memory as to how something is removed or put back together. Since finding the info in this thread on more than one occassion I've been inspired to take photos as an 'aide de memorie' (I bet thats spelt wrong!) its paid off a few times.

Many thanks for the door lock photo's, great help. Would you have a simple 'how to' set of removing the window frame from the door ? I seem to have undone every bolt and screw I can see and it still won't move. I'm obviously missing something, I just hope it's not too many brain cells

Two bolts at the rear of the door on the side Inside view Nuts at the rear and front, inside the door

Hi there do you have any pics for removal of window winders plse Window winders do you mean the handles? if so they have a spring clip which you have to remove with a piece of stiff wire bent over at the end to form a hook, if you push the large washer/protector into the vinyl you should see the clip! If you mean the winder mechanism it's a case of winding the window down removing the screws holding the mechanism, then sliding the window out of the channel and the best way you can remove the mechanism out through the opening in the door "MIND YOUR FINGERS" there can be sharp pieces particularly around the quadrant!!

When did Cyf's photos get reinstated? Did Photo_ucket have a change of heart?

Thanks Richard. Maybe I shouldn't have deleted all mine on their site, in disgust.

Well, I'd question how long they'll be around (just my opinion) so this could become an issue again. They'll have a hard time winning-back peoples trust.
