The Doctor didn't drive any car. The P5b was owned by the Mine Manager who left at the end of the last series so the car is unlikely be featured this time

There was a totally unexpected brief scene involving what looked to be a 3 Litre (judging by the hubcaps) in "kidnap & Ransom" on ITV last night at 9pm starring Trevor Eve. The programme was filmed in Kashmir and a P5 was the last car I expected to see there! It was crammed full of the kidnap victims but the scene was fairly brief. I wonder why they chose a P5 and how did they locate one out there?! Most bizarre

The P5 featured several times last night in the 2nd episode of the "Kidnap & Ransom" series on ITV1. At the moment, a kidnap victim is trussed up in the boot awaiting his fate A strange choice of vehicle

On a similar note, the kids were watching Garfield sequel movie yesterday - set in a castle in England - and there is a bordeaux red coupe ( roof and body) in it. Can't remember the full reg but it was a h plate. How many of you spotted it?! ;0)

The credits to 'Kidnap & Ransom' mention South Africa and this site www.tvmaps.co.uk/where-was-kidnap-and-ransom-india-filmed suggests Cape Town as the filming location. I suppose there are a few more P5s in South Africa than Kashmir but they probably had to import a Hindustan Ambassador or two.

That makes more sense. I half expected the location to be somewhere else. This seems to be the case with most filming.
