I know this thread is a little old now, but I'm new to the site and can't find any other info on lowering the front end. Has anyone got any pics of the adjustment nuts for the torsion bars on the front as I am having trouble locating and knowing which way to turn etc. Don't want to break anything!! Lol. Thanks for any help. Gareth.

Gareth, do you just want to level the front end or lower it considerably and why?

Go to the rear of the front spring laminates and you will arrive at a large bell crank. There is a long vertical bolt and a horizontal bolt that the vertical bolt passes through. There is also a 1/2" locking bolt that allows the bell crank to pivot, this must be loosened. Back off the nut on the horizontal bolt and then start unwinding the vertical bolt. Don't wind it all the way out though. (otherwise it will ruin your day)
After you have backed off each vertical bolt evenly lower the car onto the ground and drive it back a forth a few metres to allow the suspension to settle. Check out the 'levelness' side to side. Repeat the procedure until you are happy with the results and then lock all the bolts. That's it.
To lower it more radically requires more decisive action.
