For all you drivers out there who only wear 'Jeans' to drive your Rover, I had an interesting leaflet come with my Gliptone products today. In the little booklet it says: "WARNING: Denim is highly abrasive, it can leach colour into the leather and scratch if fitted with metal rivets. Avoid if possible" So those of you who spend lots of money to get your leather looking first class, must remember to have a 'Jeans' burning ceremony prior to driving again.
Personally I haven't worn them for nearly fifty years now, I found them cold uncomfortable, and absolutely awful when they got wet.

For me it conjures up a vision of driving along in baggy Y fronts with socks pulled up covering skinny white hairy legs.......................

I have visions of Rik Mayall from the "Young Ones" plus tea stains on the "Y" fronts driving a P5 shouting "Fascists"! as he hits the kick down pedal!
