Hi Paris, I guess you could get it looking as good as you want if only you have lots of money to throw at it so slowly bit by bit is easier on the pocket. I think they are an expensive car to do, especially the interior. My interior was shot too when I got it, when I picked it up it had an engine block in the back seat, the seats were all ripped and the front dashboard crashpad has gaping cracks in it. As far as I know thats how the fuse panel is meant to look, maybe a bit tidier when new. Ken

Yes, my interior was done by Neil Litchfield in Carrum Downs. He is well known in the Jag car club and has trimmed many concourse winners. I can recommend him, he is a perfectionist and most likely cheaper than the bigger trimmers. You will find him if you google him.

I should say, apart from the leather seats, he also did the headlining, sunvisors and carpets.

Paris, Blackman and Sons produce quality work but its expensive...large workshop lots of overheads. I've just had the seats of my damaged (burnt) Magnette reupholstered by a motor trimmer near DFO in Cheltenham. Its something of a hybrid Hotrod like most of my vehicles and has early Alfa Romeo fold down buckets in front and the rear seats are Wolseley 4/44 which is the same family but different pattern. I drew up a design and they rebuilt and matched the rears to the front set. Quite complex if you look at the style of pleats. Take a look at this link and you're close enough to view the real McKoy if you want. * www.mgexperience.net/phorum/read.php?27,2115811 Remember to factor in the GST when you get the price. ...and here's a part forward shot of my Mk3's interior which was retrimmed about 2 years ago. The job included all seats, carpets sewn in floor mats, rear parcel shelf, armrests on the doorcards but not the roof lining or sunvisors. All leather where leather was meant to be. It cost about $4000 but the trimmer who visited estimated $6000 currently...not by the trimmer who did my MG seats. ~ Vince

Stripped down original engine for this car off to be reconditioned. It will replace the 4.4L P76 engine currently in the car which has a vibration problem
