Whilst renewing the driver's door lock I noticed that the coiled spring has broken on the window winder. Can't see them listed by JRW, are they available anywhere? And do all four doors use the same sized spring? The window winds up and down fine without it. I assume the spring's purpose is to counter the weight of the glass; is this correct?

Wadhams do a window winder repair kit look again I wouldn't bother I had a local guy a month ago who bought 2 winder kits no instructions, holes wrong diameter, the quadrant needed riveting and welding! I ended up doing one and using a rear winder to do the other one as the centre spigot shoulder broke to do the job it really needed a press! the cog box was 100%
