Hi. Can anyone help with a little problem? I have a white vinyl roof interior (K reg) well it should be white but its more yellow/brown. Iv tried a few products but no joy.. Is there a spray that foams up and draws out all the dirt? If so.. What's it called and is it something I should be using it?? Thanks Mark

Have you tried wet wipes, I have just cleaned my seats with them and door panels, very pleased with the results.

No P5 or P5B had white headliner - if it is a special and its nicotine stained then nothing will shift it

Mine has paint overspray and other crap on it. A couple of months back while tuning the engine, I was sitting in the car revving it and happened to have a can of carb cleaner in my hand.... It removed all of the dirt and paint overspray in the small area I sprayed it on and didn't damage it. I am not advocating the use of carb cleaner to clean vinyl, but I may use it to clean the rest as my only other option is to replace it.

Webasto or weathershield sunroof? There is a difference in that webastos had wooden internal frames and weathershield had metal internal frame. is there a manufacturers plate around the lock plate on it?
Regardless, The headlining material on the sunroof wont may match the rest of the car as it would have come out of the box with a beige or grey lining of its own. They would have just cut a hole in the original lining and discarded the piece.
I have a full length weathershield in mine. It is the original Rover vinyl that I attacked with the carb cleaner....

I know its an old thread but Vax Machine Carpet cleaner is good at most cleaning as is Vanish Carpet spray. If things are really bad then you need to get Baking Soda sprinkle some in an old icecream tub or similar, add a small amount of warm water to make a loose paste, then using a clean cloth (microfibre clothes are best) dab some on and rub it on gently. Its a dog to do and will kill your muscles but if nothing else works this should - also gets rid of fag smells whilst you are at it! Clean it all down with warm clean water after and you should be fine. It is painful but I did it with a stained Vinyl floor in my van and it got rid of it.
