My nephew, Benjamin, did it - I can only just manage to turn the computer on ! We ought to have more unusual cars on this thread to see how long it can be kept going.

He will be getting ready for the winter soon. The 4WD Mazda in front of it is our normal winter transport, it's actually the dogs van ( we have Alaskan Malamute sled dogs ) but as it is 4WD it tends to get used if the roads are icy or snowy. Hope we have some nice sunny days over the winter period so I can get to use him

Oooooh look at that beauty! Fantastic finish on those panel gaps and trim. What is the interior colour Mulberry or Black ? Cant make it out from photo? Mazda Bongo? Was concidering one before I went for the VW? Good vehicles. Hold on you have sled dogs and you worry about getting around in Winter? Surely Bury St Edmunds does not suffer so badly with snow does it?

The quote underneath the club poster could read: "Pub meets all over the world"!

Nephew indeed...good fun though. This thread is mine and I say strictly P5 related There are millions of great P5 pictures out there and this is the place to share them with the everyone. You can always start one in the Other marques section??

The interior is Mulberry..and quite good , I shall replace the carpets at some point ( worn part covered by rubber mat ) and the varnish is showing its 44 yrs of age. The Bongo is great , dogs and equipment in the back and we sleep in the roof. In 5yrs we have had the dogs pull a sled once in the snow , normally it is a wheeled rig, although our big boy can drag a 5 series and 3 series estate BMW on his own with ease. Haven't coupled them up to the rover yet LOL

Is that an old P5 lightweight prototype Rover never put into production? Sort of 1950's Eco car ?

Burgundy and silver birch. Used Admin's quick polish guide. Cost 1 Ozzie dollar and took 23 minutes.

I thought Roy would have taken me to task by now. Time to add a proper P5 to the earlier post. And here's one for today. Damian's from a couple of years ago. (He hasn't been on the forum for quite awhile)

Where has he gone Warwick? Damian was going to put some video footage up (well we wanted him to) but it never happened. Maybe one day We used to keep in touch by e-mail for a couple of years, and then about 2 1/2 years ago he moved to Sydney from further up the coast. He'd been commuting to work in central Sydney. And then he more or less disappeared. I got an e-mail from him out of the blue about 2 years ago and he also logged into the forum around the same time; but nothing since. Last time we communicated he was thinking about buying a tired 3.5 coupe to prepare for racing, having sold his saloon earlier to concentrate on finishing other projects. He was a nice guy. Hope he's okay and the GFC didn't get him.
