At a recent pub meet I was given the spanner shown below, as the donor knew of my past life as a Ford Motor Company employee. I find it an odd little tool, as : a) The sizes are not marked (approx 5/8 and 9/16 inch) and b) The trade marking as "Ford Dagenham". I would have expected "Ford", "FoMoCo" or "EnFo", never seen "Dagenham" as an identifier. Anyone know where this item may have originated?

I've had spanners marked Ford Dagenham some were also marked as well with the legend 'TS and S' I seem to remember being told they were tools supplied with Ford tractors in the 50's

I thought they were all Fordsons back then.

Quite correct, tractors were branded as Fordson, trucks and vans were Thames.
