Hi I stumbled upon this event (new I think) today whist flicking through this months Practical Classics mag, so loaded up the VW Camper and off we went. £7 for adults and £3 for kids over 7. The lady at the gate told us to park in the 1970's line ( ?) so we did. Later on we figured out they must have thought we were in the show, next thing my van is in the 1970's competition! what the 'eck I thought why not... we only turned up as spectators! ;D Funniest thing - we are potty training our daughter this week (she is 2.5) and she tells us she needs 'wee wee' , just as I park up in the central area with the show cars!' Everyone is milling around and looking at the van whilst she is on the potty! Class! We did'nt win anything - mines a daily driver work in progres special, not that I care really it was just funny to be in this situation. A good show quite a few cars attended, very low key and relaxed. Best of all a lovely couple in a white P5B invited me in to sit in the drivers seat and talk P5's! I told them I wanted to buy one and loved sitting in the drivers seat. If you are reading this folks 'thanks for being very kind and taking the time to talk about your lovely car. (Yes I was in the Orange VW Camper) Decision made its a P5 or P5B Saloon for me....
