Anthony,
If you are still in Canada, and are serious about finding a good car, I fear you will need to fly over here and view the cars. I looked for a good-quality P5B Coupe for about six months, saw a few which were either not exactly as describe, more customised that I would want or just way over the value I would have put on the car. My solution was to get one re-built from a solid donor car, and get it taken down to bare metal. An expensive solution, but I plan to keep the car for many years. Apart from the cost, this takes many months, and there is a long wait before you will be able to get a restorer to start on your donor car. I've been after a P5B for thirty-six years (actually that would really have been a P5 then, technically) so a few more months wait is OK. Of course, as soon as I had started work on the car, about six or seven advertisements appeared with recently restored cars, several thousand pounds less than I will be paying!
Good luck - I trust when you do eventually get a car it will be worth the wait!

I have got one coming up. It belongs to a business aquaintance of mine, I am am trying to wear him down !
It belonged to his father who bought it new, and when he died in 1974 it was put in storage up on blocks in his industrial unit. It hasn't been on the road since. Apart from its coating of thick dust, its fine. There is no rust at all anywhere that I can see, and believe me, I have looked hard enough ! It even has its original crossply tyres.
When and if I can get it, I suspect I will want to keep it. But I might not, because the interior colour is Mulberry, and I dislike it intensely.
