Over the years I have been asked to assess many P5s on behalf of prospective vendors and / or buyers, and I often wonder what happened to them. Here are a trio from my archives: Seen in Stirling in 2004, not now listed on the DVLA database. I remember this one had a bad water leak and the interior was soaking wet after the car had been washed prior to my visit! Seen at Chirnside in the Scottish Borders in 2005, last listed as active in 2009. It was needing welding and paintwork which it seems to have received to have survived at least a further 4 years. This fine looking 3 litre saloon was seen in West Lothian in 2004, and is listed currently as active by the DVLA . It had a fibreglass front wing and had been in service as a wedding car, I think it went north to Aberdeenshire after sale.

SLK 486L was sold to a dealer in the Birmingham area and changed hands to a Mercedes owner that swapped the reg; for his SLK. It was then up for sale several years ago here in the south.
