;D ;Dhi all merry Christmas i am thinking of selling my coupe to buy a p2 has anyone had any experience with them .i like to do a little traveling to show i just wonder if a p2 will be ok.i know the p5 isok to travel in.next part of the question how much is my p5 worth i would say it is a1+but we all think ours are.there are pictures on this site (under wedding cars from weymouth)so if anyone car help thanks.hope to here soon

I have a P2 - 1938 16 Saloon - it really depends which model you want and what you want to do with it.
Its a great car though and we go every where in it - it cruises at 55-60 mph with a top speed of 77 although I have never been faster than 65. I will look at your pictures
The P5 is the most practible every day car though as the 16 acceleration and braking is not up to busy roads and/or motorways every day that's we have a selection!

hi Phil it is a 1934 rover 12 it is in very good condition but the trouble is i have only got 1 garage so i would have to sell the p5b but i have got 1 more.its a 1963 coupe which i am just finishing off so i will still have a p5 ;D ;D ;D ;D

The 1934 12 is a totally different car to the later 12-20 "P2"'s although only the post war versions were actually refered to as P2. Its a flat "D" back saloon quite roomy and comfortable but no boot
The 1934 ones are not P1's either. They are 4 cylinder cars simliar to the later 14-20 sixes. Quite rare nowadays and abit slow.
They have quite a lot of timber framing. Spares are reasonably lentiful but not cheap as have to be remanufactured
