I see from the entrants list on the HERO website that there is a 1967 P5B Coupe entered in this year's Le Jog, which runs during early December. The car is entered with a Nigel Botterill / Julian Marshall as crew members. There is also a P6 3500S entered this year.

This is Nigel's user name for the forum but i work a ford garage and we have been tasked with the job of getting the rover ready for LeJog. The car went for its first test drive today. The car was restored at the start of this year by us and now it has been converted into rally spec.
I will try and get some photo posted up before the event.

Sounds very interesting.
Any chance of someone putting together a report and photos for the club magazine Take Five?
If so, you can email me at editor@roverp5club.org.uk

Had the car gone off the road? Or was it just parked? Was a surprise to see that photo. Car and drivers looking good earlier in the day!

Road.. What road?
What is the rope on the back of the car. It looks as if its attached to the rear spring.

there a road just to the right of the car. for the rules of the rally you need to have front and rear tow points, you can see in some of the photos the front tow strap in red. they are red seat belt like material that are bolted to brackets that have been welded to the front crossmember and rear chassis leg by the spring mount

Yes Nigel I could make out the road if that's what's called a road in Wales. Thanks for the info on towing points.
