I just wondered if anyone else is subject to the recall of new brake caliper pistons supllied by JRW? I bought I full set August 05 and had a call from Jon identifying a manufacturing defect that may affect some pistons from one supplier and as such, all from this one supplier are subject to a full and immediate recall for replacement by JRW. Credit to his record keeping in knowing exactly who he has supplied with these items.
Now I have bought an awfull lot from JRW and feel I have a good working relationship with them, I know some may say otherwise but personally I rate his business highly in a dwindling and very limited marketplace.
Are many other fellow P5b having to strip down their calipers in the summer heat?!

I rebuilt mine 2 years ago, and just cleaned and stuck the pistons back in. They were'nt perfect even some pitting, but with new seals there has been no leak and no seizing up, infact they are perfect. It was worth trying as pistons are expensive, and if it did'nt work I was no worse off.
