The reg no looks vaguely familiar, but it will be interesting to see what it fetches !

I have a photo of this car, taken in Swanage this year. It was the first and only time I've seen it. I very much doubt if it was in Scotland. It was bought new in Bournemouth and has been there ever since. It belonged originally to a P5 Club member, and I think she was on the committee, possibly as regalia sec. The name Val Talbot rings a bell but I cannot say for sure. It then passed to this gentleman who has a restoration business and he restored it to its former glory. If anyone is looking for a tip top Coupe that is the one to go for, it's totally outstanding. I will post the pic I took of it in the next couple of days.

The car may seem familar to the scottish members because Chazmac has a very similar car in the same colour, registation is OEL 44 G. The pictured car is OEL 193 G.

Here as promised one superb P5B Coupe. I'm just sorry I didn't take any more pics of this car.

It certainly is a beauty and I would love to see more of it. I must admit, now I've seen Dorset Flyers super image, that I can't make out what crossply it is shod in. The sidewalls look so stiff that the tyres have been inflated to some huge pressure or they are not Dunlop/Avon which do bulge quite a bit above the tread pattern. In fact the size looks more P4 to me ie 6.40 x 15 Anyway, that doesn't matter, the car is lovely and appears to be worth the the higher end of the estimate and more if all the usual boxes are ticked.

Any car that has wings where you can put a cup of tea on has to be special. I agree with Davie how I never tire seeing photo's of the cars particulary in different surroundings. The two occupants look a bit dodgy though especially the driver trying to hot wire it ;D
