Hi all,
Just a quick note to thank everyone involved in making the National Rally possible. It was a great success with a very good turnout. Perfectly organised. The weather was a bit subdued on Saturday but dry apart from a little sprinkle in Lavenham. Yesterday was very sunny at Duxford. I had two wonderful days meeting wonderful people for the first time. The cars were equally impressive and the War museum location rounded it off well with many old aircraft taking off and landing close by. As John Wallett collected his last prize a spitfire stunt flier dazzled us all with his manoeuvres overhead!
Again thanks to all involved for their efforts and it was great to meet you and be with you on both days. This was my first national after 40 years abroad but there will be more!
Best wishes,
Peter

Never mind but we were not there on Saturday as unusually had a day off and went to a Country Fair near Bosworth Battlefield. On Sunday were were in the the Blue P5B Saloon which would have won the former "Ripe for Restoration" prize

Glad you are home safely Cyf! It was great to meet you and your charming family. The children were doing well in a strange country.
Thanks for the excellent photos. Surprised to see the Bottle of Britain. I thought you were going for something to eat...!

The photographers at Duxford said they would put on line all the photographs taken. Does that mean links in here or elsewhere?
