As per thread title I was logged in permanently but now have to log-in every time, I see cookies mentioned, as far as I know I have not changed that. The only thing that has changed my end is on the Desktop I was using IE8 but as it is now not safe after Microsoft no support after April I had to instal Firefox 28 but as far as I knew it took on all passwords, cookies, favorites etc. I dont know if Firefox has a thing about certain sorts of cookies but has only asked once 'being redirected to another site' and once 'did I want to allow Advert cookie' I said no. I haven't had any trouble with other Forums I use and always straight in.
On a Laptop with IE10 running I have logged in initially on that since purchase in December and have since been Welcomed with no problems but will try the Laptop Monday to see if the same happens on that now. If it does it could be something connected with Proboard tweaking.
Update I have checked Desktop IE8 and FF28 and this Forum's cookies all present and correct/allowed, now checking on IE10 on laptop. Checked the laptop and IE10 cookies enabled but don't know where to find the list in there but I was straight in on the Laptop IE10 anyway.

I have never logged out, I usually either 'back page' or the red X. I think it may have been Firefox or Google Search up to something because my History had vanished from FF, blank drop menu, and Google home page now has a Google advert band at bottom of Google Home page about 'improving their services and products and cookies' or something. I hadn't changed anything I dont think, but the whole thing came to a head when I registered on another proboard forum and it got its 'underware in a twist' I have now got all my log-ins and the History drop down is back and growing nicely, almost back to normal until the next time

Well done! We are all so computer dependent. I've just lost loads of data at PC World. Good that Rover P5 club is an offline database.
