I'd love to take the Rover for a couple of laps around Goodwood but I'm not sure if it would be a bad idea.. Would you have fun? Gliding the inevitable predictable tyre slide around the bends, drifting through the chicane and powering down the straight...? Or would you plough it at the first corner with a maniacal grin across your face???!! Errrm..
Roy you'd have tremendous fun. I always remember the Norwich Union finishing at Silverstone. One year we arrived at the same time as two other friends in P5B Coupes and we had a very enjoyable blast around, sorry I mean parade lap. Another year I managed to overtake a Porsche on the home straight (someone's granny must have been driving!), I did rather forget about the bend at the end of the straight and only just managed it, but I can now always say I overtook a Porsche at Silverstone in my P5B. The high speed bowl at Millbrook is another place for fun and to surprise a few people on what a Rover can do.
