Nice work John, very skilled and talented work going on . Thank for the comments Steve it takes a bit of time to get back to small stuff again I wish the old fingers were as nimble as they used to be not to mention the old lamps! strange going from making 7/16"/1/2" UNF screws and OD's, to making 1.5mm screws. Since March another little job I have been doing for my Bro in Law is a 60' Narrow boat, totally removed and replaced the floors etc, he now has Bed Room, Airing Cupboard/Wardrobe, Bathroom with Flush toilet 125 gallon int tank, hand Basin and Shower, Morse Stove with 3 radiators, 3 bank smart charger with 6 x 125amp batts, Ring Main with Intrinsically Consumer Unit. We are now waiting for Kitchen so I am having a bit of R&R at last!!! Now Steve where's your Rolling Ball Creation Continuing with my obsession of Meccano right now

When I am not in my " mancave " tinkering with my toys I like to look after my garden keeping it all nice and tidy. This year I built a garden bar and then had a huge wooden gazebo roof built over the top of it and enclosed it with those industrial see through flaps you have on warehouse doors. Keeps the wind chill out and allows us to get drunk on a regular basis now with friends in the comfort of our own home. LOL.
Who needs the pub.
Other hobbies include watching the missus do the housework and shopping and bringing me food and drink whilst watching a good war film. LOL. This early retirement lark is great. LOL.

Mmm!! I can't help but think that if the missus knows that "other hobbies are watching her doing the house work and fetching you food etc" your early retirement may not last long and hospital food may become the norm.

Car tinkering apart, when it's not too cold as I have that Reynaud's Syndrome which stops me working outside when the temperature drops to lo the low 40's and further, I still do a lot of DIY and the heavy gardening such as the lawn mowing and tree pruning. Only very rarely do tradesmen step over the threshold but my brother who is a builder does some work for us.
Since Diane's illness last winter I find I can do good pastry so this is an activity for the cold winter days ahead.
