Having reached 48 years old "The Old Grey Lady" was in need of some tlc, hardly surprising as she has been my daily driver for 25 years. I estimated three weeks work; fourteen months later I finished! Having taken photographs along the way, I thought I should share some - more to follow as I sort them out. Before on the ramp and after on the yard and drive:

No longer the grey lady, more like the green goddess. Looking forward to hearing more. Nice I have been thinking of the best way to present the photographs. Probably in separate threads under Mechanical, Electrical and Bodywork etc, making it easier as a reference resource.

Now the car looks well sorted, not that it looked too bad before! [/quote] The car continued to receive compliments right up to the time I started work on it. The exercise has proved just how much appearances can be deceptive on these cars. Here is a shot of it seven years ago when my daughter got married.
