Holmesdale,
No problem, just turn-up on the day and pay as you go in.
We will always take entries on the day ..but pre-booking helps us with numbers and getting the correct trophies, so we would always seek attendees help us with that, if they can.
The fee is (I hope) so little that people will pay it to assist the process.
Cheers
Ray

I was there! Apart from a bit of drizzle for about 20 mins the day was dry and over cast. Just over 60 cars came along and I hope had a nice time! Rovers of all types - Running Boards, Tourers, P4s, P5s, P6s, SD1s, plus more modern 75s, 216s and MGFs. We also had a really nice approx 100 year old Morris turn up which was really nice (anyone see that?).
I had some feedback (shouted from the passing window of a P4) that the Rally could have been better signposted. Thanks for that and all feedback is welcome to try and improve things for people. We relied on The Bluebell Railways own signage to get people to the Rally and supplied directions to pre-bookers from the Railways own website. We thought this would be sufficient! Navigating the little roads of deepest East Sussex can always be tricky.
And yes I did move the big 6ft Rover banner closer to the corner of the entrance to the Railway! I witnessed about half a dozen cars read misread the roadsign above it (HUGE black and white left turn reflective chevrons)and mistake that for a direction pointer for the Rally! But apart from that little hiccup I think things went OK and a nice day was had with plaques handed out for the best cars as voted for by the attending car owners.
Thanks to all who came! Roy

I've borrowed a few friends pictures and popped them on the P5 club facebook page. I'll put some on here when I find the cable to download them from my camera!
