BEWARE
I can't find photos of your car at the moment, but I seem to recall that your car, if I'm thinking of the correct one ( a 2-tone green early saloon?) has the earlier pattern / style on the door card internal finish / appearance, with a contrasting charcoal insert. I think the style changed with the Mark 1A , or the last of the Mark 1s. Later cars had a 'plainer' single tone finish.
Also, the treatment of the wood trim and padding is different, IIRC, on the early cars. Wood treatment on door tops is different on saloons and coupes, the latter have more wood, coming further down the door from the base of the windows.
I'm only flagging this up as I'm not sure if you're talking about the actual backing card, or the interior trim finish on the door card and don't know whether originality is an important issue.
Of course, I might be thinking of the wrong car, in which case just ignore!

tonys you are correct my p5 is a early mk1a model and the front door cards
have pockets that pull out on straps to put items in, the card is also coloured
green and black with the bottom covered in what i can only describe as the same as the
car carpets, i dont want any modification other than if possible to get rid of the storage pockets
and cover the card with a new skin to compliment the new carpets i had made and generally tidy
the doors up. i will take your advice and double check before buying the door card covers
this is a link i got for the car pictures before i viewed it
