Anybody fitted a rear seat belt for a baby seat? I'd ideally like something period and unobtrusive but it would need to be inertia reel I would think to hold a baby seat securely.
I do have a spare set of front inertias but what have people done about mounting points? any recommendations?
A 2 month old rover fan is keen to go for a ride!
thanks

Will,
The mounting points are allready there, captive nuts are fitted for seatbelts in the rear. I'm not sure that you will be able to fit front one's on the rear parcel shelf because the locking mechanism will be set for them to be mounted upright.

Will, I fitted Citroen CX rear belts to mine. They are designed for parcel shelf mounting and so there is no lock up problem. Further they come with a neat cover for the reel and so do not look that unsightly sitting on the parcel shelf. John Stacey (Bristol)

nice one John I'll check them out, I think a CX is old enough to be acceptable!

I got mine from a place called quick fit who sent me two brand new rear seatbelts(underslung) the same style and colour as the front. They were about £180 but have the chrome clasps are just the job.You don't see many, If any p5's, going about with underslung rear seatbelts, they also send you the ethcuteons for the rear parcel shelf. If you're going to do this you would be as well fitting the two not just one.
