..... well I assume its something like that - but I've yet to figure out how to get the door trim panel off!! I know how to remove the handles (d**n - its so much easier on my Morris Minors), but getting the panel off seems to require removing the wood trim/capping at the top - and getting this off seems to require removing other bits.
Is there an easy way to gain access to the regulator to check if its missing teeth or just slipped?

Once you've taken the handles off, you need to remove the adjustable arm rest (if its a coupe front door). If its a saloon, I think the armrest still has to come off but I'm not sure. The panel comes off before the wood - the wood is fixed by screws behind the panel. This is all detailed in the workshop manual.
