The state roads authority here (VicRoads) has an app available for young drivers. It uses the phone's GPS system to identify when the phone is in a car. Once set up it's totally automatic. If the phone receives a call or text while travelling, it doesn't ring or make a sound but sends back a text message to the caller explaining that you are driving and that you will contact them later. I wonder how many people use it?

WOW - Real self inflicted big Brother Stuff. Won't be long before we have enforced chips under the skin from birth ! Well, I say we, but I mean the people after us. The reasons will be - It's great as in these days of terrorism, violence and danger the authorities will be able to see where you are and what you were doing before you got hurt and get help to you straight away. Isn't that just great ? It will ensure your safety.
Cheers Colin
