Thanks to all of you who have contacted me in the past few weeks and sent the kind wishes for me in my new post as PR Officer . I am proud to report that you have in effect a two-man team now (nothing sexist or un-PC about this; we really are two MEN!), since John Stacey has not only agreed to help me boost the PR efforts of our club but has also dived straight in with a whole boot full of practical support, ideas, advice and suggestions. So things are looking good. I will report on progress to the committee at our next meeting and will give our readership a more detailed insight in the next issue of Take 5. There is one important aspect I would like to raise, though. Not only do we have a register of those of you who are prepared to make their car/s available for special occasions ==> and Geoff Arthur (see contact under COMMITTEE) will be only to pleased to discuss this with you. We have also had quite a few cars in print media and TV now. If anyone approaches you PLEASE TELL ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Any lead or contact is invaluable and John and I need this information if we want to do a good job for you. Even the slightest official interest in the P5 can lead to great things so please include your PR team should you become involved in promotional/media work. Thanks again to everyone and good Rovering to you all

Peter
Will you be contacting ITV to cover the National Rally in September? Gaydon is local to the West Midlands ITV region and the BBC too. Should make a good story with Rover being a hot topic this year.

Dear Adrian
That is an excellent idea and I am happy to tell you that printed media, TV and radio have been approached. I hope to be able to report on the results in more detail soon.

Yes, it's me again. Just to avoid any confusion, the above message was posted by my good self - but, in touch with the electronic age as I am I forgot to log in. ;D
