Missing cigar lighter insert, Rover emblem out of kilter on the steering wheel and I don't recall ever seeing the 'Rover' badge on the front wings (just behind the head lights).

I think the Rover wing-badges only made production for a very short period of time. I don't recall seeing a UK model with them but I have seen a LHD USA-market one advertised (a while ago), with the badges clearly visible in the photos.

Yes, horn ring on the mick, I did not notice the cigar lighter missing. It is no wonder the company lost so much money with the amount of work on each component, but credit to the engineering and quality.
Just love old film

What a great piece of classic motoring history. I started with Rover Car Company in 1966 at Seagrave Road in London. It was part of my apprenticeship to visit Solihull to see these great cars being built. I recall the engine test beds and we had the same at Seagrave road for testing reconditioned engines. I thought the later pistons were fitted with a oil scrapper ring below the gudgeon pin. The trim shop at Solihull like Seagrave road employed a large number of female upholsters. I finished my career with Rover as a vehicle tester and I can assure all members that each car was a joy to drive.
My only observations other that that already mentioned are :
The interior mirror was missing, the fuel gauge was reading full, this was never the case just off the line. Finally the chauffeur at the end of the film was chewing, that will never do.
Thanks for the memories, Andy

PS, to my last. My BW35 is still working smoothly and "NO" leaks, thanks to Andy.
