Finally got a fine dry day today to thoroughly clean the Coupe. Whilst polishing under the front bumper, I noticed a line of small rust bubbles along the centre of the front sub-frame - the bit you can see hanging dead centre under the car .On probing, it has slightly gone through into the hollow box-section just above the strengthening plate at the front. So what to do? Help please. :'(Everything else on the sub-frame seems totally solid. I have been under the car for ages and can find no other rust except here. I have has several of these cars before, but never rusted here.

Dont worry yourself the car will not fall to bits just yet, you just need a small welded repair on it, it is not a major problem

Its a well known rust spot - as is just under the torsion bars - the metal also crackes through stress. they can be plated but a proper job must be done
