Hello all 1968 P5B Coupe I want to get the corner nacelles off my dash to re-veneer the edges. The one with the clock and the similar one on the other side. I have found two screws on the left hand one, in the glove box, but cant for the life of me see another and it doesnt want to come off. On the driver’s side I cant find any screws at all and the workshop manual is not help. Could anyone help please? Thanks Steve

I can't remember how mine was exactly, but there are several hidden screws that are underneath other bits that have to be removed first before you gain access to the tiny screws. You'll have to be resourceful and hunt around, but hopefully someone else here will have more explicit instructions for you.

The parts book is more help than the W/shop manual

That is really helpful. I got the left one-off but that little nut behind the one on the driver side is an absolute B****r, I cant get a spanner on it....on that basis and the fact that I see there is also a screw at the top into the little piece of veneer next to it I may give up. And veneer it in situ! Thanks

Nice one, I need to do my n/s corner, the veneer is still there but the lacquer has peeled. The rest of the wood is lovely apart from the n/s/f door capping where the thin strip at the very front has come off, I’ll just lacquer that to try & keep the water out as it’s not noticeable with the door shut
