Hi there. I need t replace the door seals on my P5b coupe. Where’s best to get them from? And any hints on technique? Or problems to watch out for? Cheers

Patience and don't rush. Do one door at a time so that you have the others to refer to. The replacements are not the same as the originals, so a bit of a compromise. It is a job best done in the autumn and then leave the doors closed all winter for the rubbers to bed in.

I have just replaced all mine during the lockdown period inc boot. I found it easier to take each door off one by one so you could clean off all old glue from the channels and then easier to fit new rubbers into. I used the sets from wadhams as these include the fillet piece that's on the bottom of the reardoors as the scotts sets don't. But saying that some people reuse there old fillet piece depending on condition. Took me three weeks but I had plenty of time on my hands and I was also touching up some paintwork to bottom of doors whilst I had the chance. I was happy with the outcome. hope this helps paul

Its a job on mine i am still trying to build myself up to doing. LOL. I did the boot lid seal and that was enough for now.
They are all safely boxed away ready for when i get the urge.
Regards,

Found a dead mouse in the boot safely tucked up in an old blanket. He'd noshed his way through the brand new drivers door seal kit I had ready to fit.
Grr back to square one! - and I don't leave the boot open to charge the battery any more!!
