I am in the process of completing the re=upholstery of an interior for my P5B coupe. I have headrest mounting brackets but these are without the sockets for reading lights. I want to make and fit sockets while I have everything apart. I have purchased two headrests but they are without the coiled cable/plug. Is someone out there able to measure the pin diameter and pitch between the pins of the correct type of plug? I know that it would be much easier to source non-standard plugs/sockets/cables but they would always be a source of irritation! Any information most gratefully received.

When I bought my car in December it came with a 'kit of parts' for the headrest lights. I haven't got around to fitting them yet but the plug on the end of the curly lead has pins spaced 1/2 inch apart. I haven't measured the pins diameter with calipers but they seem to be about 1.5mm. I can measure it more accurately if you need it.
