For those still with original electrics, especially the 11AC alternator and 4TR regulator this might be of interest. I opened up the 4TR from my 1970 p5B by carefully drilling through the brass rivets. Revealed was a circuit board full of dry joints, especially on the terminals and long wire wound resistor. Cleaning and resoldering all the joints and closing the case up with some brass BA bolts it now works and looks original. Attachments:
