While driving my 1968 P5b Coupe into Bath to top up my fuel tank in readiness for my visit to Weston a large van pulled alongside me at the lights. The driver of the van wound down his window and shouted "good afternoon Mr Pelham, the man that haunted himself". My wife asked, what did he say? He must be confussing me with someone eles I said. However when I returned home I looked up The man that haunted himself and Mr Pelham. It turns out to be a film made in 1970 with a very young Roger Moore playing the main role. The film is very 1970s but there are some great scenes of London and lovely old cars. The man in the van was thirty something so far too young to remember the film. I can only conclued it has a cult following, maybe because of the car.

Vanman was nearly right. The car used was a burgundy saloon. The film is quite well known and is very much of its time.
