I've just replaced the hoses on my car for silicone ones and in the process I seem to have managed to blow the fuse (At least I think that's the issue) tr)o the horns as they are not working (no supply confirmed with a meter.
The wiring diagram suggests they share a circuit with the interior lights and sure enough they aren't working either. None of the fuse bpx fuses seem to relate to these items so assume there's a remote fuse. Can anyone enlighten me on the location please?

V8? It's in the main fuse box. Not sure which fuse number. On the wiring diagram it shows as the fuse with connections 1 and 2.

The horns, int lights & a few other areas are unfused in the P5B. They work on a live purple coloured wire circuit. They show as fused on the wiring diagram and I think Rover would have been unlikely to have items drawing such a high current without a fuse. I did put a meter across all of the fuses in the fusebox and they all tested good. Car starts, runs, drives and all works except int lights and horns. There is no 12V supply to the horns as tested by the meter hence why I believe there is a separate fuse to those items.

Number 1 fuse "Battery Control" had indeed blown so thank you.
My faulty testing procedure obviously.

There is no further fusing and the earth is made via the horn push. It's clear on the wiring diagram.

The horns are fused by #1 Battery Control Terminal 2 (RHS) is the fused side Terminal 1 is the Unfused side. The fuse needs to 40A or 35A. This also fuses the interior lights, clock and Cigar lighter(s). As was normal Rover practice these are the "wrong" side of the Ammeter so will not show a discharge when the alternator is charging but a Charge!
