Has anyone mated a P4 manual gearbox to a 3 liter P5?

See search - different casing as P4 has the rear engine mounting cast into it

There are good manual gearboxe alternatives that bolt straight on. But gear change linkage needs changing.

In this case I am putting the 3 liter in a 95 and it seems pretty plausible to me. The 3 litre I have had an auto behind it so I will have to machine a flywheel to fit but otherwise it looks reasonably straight forward. Some others have apparently already done this here in NZ but the one I know about died a while back. If nobody has done it over there then I guess that's that but I believe it will make a good combo in the car.

There have been a few 3 Litre conversions in P4s in the UK but these have been the manual engine. The auto crankshaft is not machined for the spigot bushes and the flywheel holes are different
