Bonnet catch cable broken - how to open the bonnet

Hi All

The cable of the bonnet catch on my P5B coupe has broken/ become loose and will not 'pop' the bonnet

Can anyone advise how I can open the bonnet

A long screwdriver can be inserted through the grill under the catch to move the linkage aside and also through the left hand side at a push. Have you tried lifting and pulling up at the same time as someone is pulling the T handle inside?
