Has anyone had any recent experience with Wadhams front seat belts? I know from reading previous posts, that they were a bit on the short side.

I have fitted as supplied by 'Quickfit Safety Belt Service'. You can specify extra length if required, and a choice of colour for belt.

Tim, mine were £372 inc. VAT. But I only had lap-straps for the rear. That was in December 2020. Even with inertia in the back it would have been just a little over £400.

The front seat belts in the P5 are of the same dimensions as a Volkswagen Bus or Transporter from 1968 to 1979. This is also nicknamed BayWindow. There are way more of these around, so it is easier to shop for alternatives.
IMHO, the Securon brand belts are uncomfortably tight, and these are what I have in my VW Bus and an MGB, I had for a while. The belts I have in my Rover is of the brand Orion, but they don't appear to have them as a set anymore www.orionsafetybelt.co.uk/

I know one of the complaints with Securon belts were they were too tight. I'm wondering if this is still the case.

Yes, but they will be annoying in another way. What the VW Baywindow belts share with the P5 besides the length is the long wire stalk on the receiver buckle. In the Bus the bolt is at the rear bottom on the tall seat pedestal and in the Rover essentially behind the beefy seat. The one from Custom and Commercial has a soft strap there.
Orion in the UK has the receiver, which is the 450 mm variant of this:
but they don't have any of their comfy 3-point inertia belts - it seems !?
Paruzzi in the Netherlands have these non-Securon:
I know Paruzzi, but I don't know their belts.
There is also www.seatbeltplanet.com/ over in Oklahoma, who will make you anything. Their products are approved in the US but I don't know if the UK MOT will care.

So belts fitted.
Fairly easy to be honest BUT before you start make sure you have a 7/16 tap.
In my case some of the anchoring points where not tapped at all or badly tapped.
As for the length no issues.
