Pawing over the bits i've found in the boot of my saloon I have come across the two original inner wings which I fortunately retained after removal as they had several brackets spot welded on them. I still have the piece of wood and the car jack and wheel brace which attach to the left hand inner wing. Unfortunately the right hand inner wing has a couple of brackets too, which I assume also had something attached but I do not have any wood to attach to the right hand inner wing, and have no recollection of what was attached on the L/H side or whether it was missing from my car or whether the brackets were just spares.
Any ideas? Well obviously you will have ideas, but please tell me as I haven't a clue, given I removed the inner wings over 20 years ago!

The right inner wing just had a shaped hardboard covered with the black Hardura to match the rest. The brackets re there as spacers and fixings for the self tappers to hold it in place

Thanks. I found the r/h side piece of hardura with a bit of damp hardboard, but as I was looking for a bit of wood like that for the jack support, I didn't make the connection as I removed it so long ago. Just need some new hardboard. Can add that to the list of hundreds of things needed to finish it off once resprayed.
