One of the things that I remember as a child was the reading lights built into the front headrests. I've got headrests in my 1973 Coupe but they don't have any lights in them. I suppose they could have been retrimmed and the light fitting aperture was trimmed over, but I wonder if this would have been done.
Also my head rests don't lock in place - I assume there is some kind of mechanism within the seat backs to lock them?
Is it easy to retrofit lights to the head rests and ensure there is a locking mechanism. Also, where is the wiring routed and fed from?

on the back of my seats there is a bracket at the top, with a screw and I used that to set the height, as I recall. The forward and backward tilt of the headrest is controlled by a little button of the side of the headrest itself, though the one on the driver's head rest has dropped off. Probably in the footwell somewhere and might turn up once the car has had all the loose parts removed from the interior.
