My gearbox is leeking oil. It looks like it is from the sump gasket and the rear seal. I haven't done a full clean and check yet and was planning to take it to the transmission specialist in Southampton who rebuilt it ten years ago but they no longer exist. Can anyone please recommend a speacialist who could do the real seal in the south of England, preferably Hampshire?

If you're a hands on owner, it's worth fixing it yourself.
There's a thread I started recently about replacing the seals in my leaking BW35, (which does involve removing the box). However, if yours is just the sump gasket, there are useful comments in my thread (from other owners about how to properly stop that from leaking and if that's all that's leaking on your car, you don't need to take the box out.
Worth reading if you've not spotted it.

Ricky Thank you. I did not see your post. I found a specialist transmission garage in central Hampshire with a guy who knows his stuff. He was able to replace the rear oil seal in situ. He also has all the correct tools to rebuild a BW35 box is anyone needs it. Dave
